LSL Development Framework 3.2.0 Released

Linux Software Labs Inc. is very happy to announce the release of the LSL Development Framework ( LDF ) v3.2.0.

The LDF allows LSL software engineers to very quickly build applications that are capable of running on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X. These applications gain instant access to multiple databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, LSL DB Server, SQL Lite, Valentina Office Server, and many ODBC data sources.

Release 3.2.0 has the following new features and improvements:

  • Added 4 new user interface elements.
  • Improved existing UI components. Added new database access modes, better end-user control of how they behave, and much improved flexibility of user interface elements.
  • Added new event types to UI components.
  • Added new extended query support for PostgreSQL database improving the speed of our LSL Document Management App by 400%.
  • Significantly improved the performance and stability of the LSL DB Server driver.
  • Added many new features to the LSL DB Server driver, including SSL network support, database encryption, and extended query support for binary data.
  • Numerous overall bug fixes, stability improvements, and performance improvements.
  • LDF now has versions supporting Full GUI DB Apps, Console DB Apps, GUI non-DB Apps, and Console non-DB Apps.
